I used to be that really skinny guy you would see hunched over without any real confidence or self esteem.I wasn't even very tall so I looked even shorter with my slouch and had no muscle definition whatsoever!
I knew i had to change, i was sick of being ignored by girls and bullied by jerks bigger than me. I even noticed that no matter how talented i was at something i was overlooked at work for guys and girls who simply 'looked' better.
I was bitter about this for a while until i can to a realization.
I cannot change the world or how other behave or view me but i have complete control to change MYSELF.
I was filled with a desire to be more confident and better looking and that first hurdle was going from
skinny to muscle because that was where i really felt let down by my body. I could count all my ribs and was pale and pasty to boot.
I joined the local gym.
I bought bodybuilding magazines.
I purchased weight gain supplements.
I talked to other bodybuilders about training.
I hired a personal trainer for a few weeks (a disaster!)
6 weeks later a lot poorer and totally exhausted i checked out my body in the mirror.
I was almost exactly the same! I could not believe it! Despair and self hatred and loathing overcame me for a time and i turned to the
internet looking for the answer.
... and i found it!
It took me a while trawling the net with so many advertisers offering magical one shot pills and little know secret workouts and all that crap i was suckered in before until i found an amazing story.
Vince Delmonte's story.Vince was a skinny guy like me and probably you if you are reading this. He too struggled to understand why it was so hard for skinny guys in particular to get ripped. Vince however did crack the skinny guy code and discovered the science behind why skinny guys are hard gainers.
Suffice to say i was inspired, i downloaded his e-book and signed up for his membership site and studied hard. I read the book 3 times in a row to make sure i knew it all and from that day things changed.
Within a few weeks i was seeing serious muscle gain ... the self esteem boost that gave me was AMAZING. People commented on it, i was being noticed and i was standing upright and proud. Another month and i was promoted at work, i had done NOTHING
mroe than i used to but my new found confidence got me noticed and my hard work at the gym was noted as making me a hard working guy.
Another month later i was looking great, i got a girlfriend and life was just getting better and better.
I started this blog not to boast of my achievements but because i am proud of my efforts and i wished i could have found more
skinny to muscle success stories online and more good information for
hardgainers so i set up my website:
